The Road to Jove
I’m almost entirely offline this week (and barely online lately, with mega-deadlines), but here’s a little taste of something from an upcoming project – The Road to Jove – between me and David of Studio Colrouphobia.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS How much longer till its out?
Not too long. Not a bajillion years, at least.
Oh man this looks fantastic!
Knowing several intensely talented artists is one of the best bits of the whole writing gig. I couldn’t be happier about how this bad boy is looking. David, of course, just sees the flaws with it and the stuff he wants to change.
Such a killer teaser poster, though. Glad you dug it, dude!
A comic? A new novel? Really curious about this and this is the first i’m seeing of it.
For now, it’s a mystery. But I’ll admit that no, it’s not a novel, LotN. Something new.
That’s very cool. Can’t wait to see more on this 🙂
ok. master of mankind?
Every time you ask, I delay it another month.
there will come a time you will be unable to resist throwing some few scraps of literary meat our way.
THAT TIME IS SOON
I’ll talk about it at some point, but not in an unrelated blog post. There’s not much to say right now. That should say it all.
Whaaat? A non-40k-related, graphic novel series (or is it?) written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden? Sometimes, wishes come true after all.
Something… like that.
I’m not being intentionally mysterious or anything, it’s just that we’re waiting until we’ve got something substantial to show before we start talking about it. But you’re not a million miles away with that guess.
Your previous work has already earned a special place in my heart / on my bookshelf (and I haven’t even read The Talon Of Horus as of now), so whatever the actual shape of this project, I’m looking forward to it.
Keep up the good work, you’re making a lot of people happy with it (or sometimes very sad, but that’s part of what makes one happy about it, right?).
Obvious! It’s an Iron Giant sequel!
The giant shrank in the laundry, and grew horns… And a couple of other things we can’t tell you about just yet…
I already have an emotional connection to the stop sign. That was the plan right?!
Yes. Yes. It’s a very important STOP sign. Crucial, even*.

[…] may remember this being mentioned as a project between myself and the artist David […]
