That’s totally fair. I have a vast TftA post almost ready to go, at long last.
Doing all my Idoneth Deepkin for Warhammer Community sort of sucked up all my updating…
Yeah, I kinda figured. I was super excited when I saw the Warhammer Community project with the others but also realised that you probably would not have time to adequately cover both, for the obivous overlap with the TftA project. Hey, who am I to judge, as long as I get quality hobby content I’m fine, no matter the source.
Aaron, what do you think of lore from 1st Edition Rogue Trader that said Chaos is not completely evil? The link below shows the Chaos Gods had positive sides. The Emperor is not completely morale as well, he freed humanity, though he conquered planets and thinks humanity should reign over other species (most aliens were hostile, though the Emperor thinks humanity should reign). Horus in Horus Rising thinks the Emperor would make peace with the Interex and Kinebrach as he said all aliens before were evil, though the Emperor thinks humans should reign as I said. The shaman, Sensei and Star Child background said Chaos can taint the Emperor as they did with Horus.
Onto Perpetuals, do you hate them? I would think you don’t since you wrote about Damon Prytanis and another Perpetual in Betrayer, though would want to see what you have said.
The Emperor talked to Oll Persson (Perpetual who is Christian) outside of Nineveh. It does not talk about the shaman background, though he is human and one of the Perpetuals. I hope you don’t bring back the Star Child, as it goes against Warhammer’s grimdark theme.
I have to add I hope you don’t mind the scan. I was hoping to show Chaos was not completely evil.
