Don't worry. None of this blood is mine.

Night Lords Covers

The best part was when they straight-up killed everyone, and I called it character development.

Oh, Jon Sullivan. Oh, Jonny-Jon, you beautiful human being – slash – cover artist. How my heart sings to see my favourite murderers rendered once more.

I think for the next in the series, Talos may need to get front and centre. Poor guy, the main character always hiding out like that behind Malek and Lucoryphus.

“I’m here, too.”

You sure are, Tal. You sure are. Now go skin some people alive and murder a few Blood Angels for a laugh. They have a new codex, man. It’ll be fun.

  7. Weee. Raptors.

Never understood the point of plasma pistols.

“It’s pretty powerful and you can shoot it twice at short range!”
“So, it’s twice as likely to blow up in my face? No, ta; I just keep it for that extra attack in close combat.”

Also, Throne of Lies sounds much cooler than either Throne of Skulls or Throne of Terra. It sounds more comfortable, too.

    • I want a Throne of Lies! It also sounds better than “Golden Throne” which sounds like an expensive toilet…

      • Anytime I hear “Throne of Lies”, I immediately flash to Will Ferrell in “Elf”.

“You sit on a THRONE OF LIES! You’re not Santa!”

  8. It’s not exactly how I imagined Raptors, but it’s absolutely cool any way!
Aaron, can you please eventually write separate post about why do you writing about Night Lords, what exactly made you love them, do you play Chaos Space Marines in tabletop and so on. It’s really interesting for me as for Night Lords fan.

  9. Talos is just firmly “behind” his comrades… he’s very supportive.

  10. Oh geez, is this going to result in me painting up another army? *sigh* I think it is, and I still haven’t finished up my damned Cadians after reading Cadian Blood…
