SFX Games Day Report

I’m still playing catchup with all my mail, bloggage and messages post-Games Day, but this made me smile. SFX’s GDUK report is mostly about me being terrified.

Bless.

  1. You certainly looked rather bewildered the entire time.

The Ian (with one I) signing was a great touch, thanks, but I’d have preferred Ian (the one eyed monster).

Was a great day actually, despite me missing out on getting a picture with the life-like space marine. Also, a question that came to mind that I should have asked then (as always, you think of things you could of said AFTER you speak to someone) was: do you get the same enjoyment out of writing now than you did before people paid you to do it?

  2. Ian did ask a interesting question. My question is what works currently do you got waiting in line? I know HH: TFH will come out this month, Blood Reaver and something about DA against NL. Anything else exciting to tell us?

  3. i noticed in The Core in the Fear The Alien Anthology there was a hint of a following up book concerning salamanders getting a can of whoop ass bestowed upon them by the 10th company is there any truth in this or am a being too presumptive?

  4. Seems to me that is exactly what is going to happen.
Think of Prosepero Falls and Thousand Sons, that is what Nick and Aaron look like they are set to do.
    Which is always cool IMO.

  6. The Abbaddon Consipracy/Objective/Ultimatium sounds like it is going to rock socks.
I am surprised no one else thought to go there, glad it is you who will be doing it though.
Being that your first book was about plauge Zombies I thought you might be into the genere a little bit.
Over here in the U.S they are making a show about the graphic novel “The Walking Dead”

They will probally be available as box sets in a few months and on Netflix.
Speaking of which I am sure they have X-box live and netflix across the pond, get that and your TV troubles are solved every movie you’d ever want and a giant list of old TV shows.

  9. Cheers for noting delivery’s being released on Warseer: they’ve arrived today. Had to anxiously hurry my girlfriend away so that I could start reading. I trust it doesn’t destabilise your sensibilities too much to think that I’m imagining Kor Phaeron as a terminator-armour wearing, gene-forged Rev. Ian Paisely?

  12. Just read Regicide and Balhaut/Slaydo couldn’t have been done better if Dabnett did it himself. I can’t think of higher praise. Awesome ADB, just awesome.

  13. My mum says she likes the look of the front of ‘Soul Hunter’ and how the back paragraph reads.
You may consider yourself worthy 😉 😛

p.s. Don’t worry, I’ll have her reading the entire thing soon enough!

  14. Still not heard any confirmation for the date of our duel, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume it slipped your mind rather than your cowardly…

Sabbat Martyr is still Abnett’s best work 😉
