  2. Yeah, that looks really cool. Is that the first vidio of that type they’ve done for the Heresy series? I haven’t seen any others.
Looks awesome. Like a movie trailer more than anything else. Heh, “The Imperial Truth is a lie.”
    Love it!

  3. “The highly anticipating novel by…” I created that anticipation. 😉

Its awesome to finally see you moving and talking and not just…. anyhow. So thats where the WB find their answers… at the old original home of the Eldar in the Eye of Terror? This put everything in a new perspective.

  5. Wow Aaron, just wow. Fantastic stuff, I am excited to see how far you go into the creation of Slaanesh and what effect it has on the Word Bearers. I was excited because I knew that your book was about the first possessed marines, but wow, you have added so much more depth… Though I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, all you books do that. I am looking forward to picking up First Heretic and giving it a read.

  8. “The only way to redeem themselves, is to sell their souls”
…that sly grin that plays across his face…it’s enough to make any Inquisitor/Loyalist piss and shit themselves!

Evil, for want of a better word.

  10. Devastated that you don’t have a Norn Iron accent yet! The book looks sick and I am eagerly awaiting more ADB goodness after being teased with the awesomeness of Helsreach and Soul Hunter. The New York Times building is only a few avenues away from me so I will dish out a fanboy beating to them if this sucker does not hit the bestseller list (which it will). Nice work.

  18. So very much YES!! This will be the book that topples Legion from its perch as my favorite Horus Heresy novel thus far!

I wonder, Mr. Dembski-Bowden, if you realize that you’ve basically become the only Chosen Champion of Chaos at the Black Library now?

  19. Whoever made the preview did a wonderful job, very dramatic. I’ve never been a Word Bearers fan, I’ve always seen them as the Ultramarines of Chaos but this definitely hooked me.Plus its got a Custodian on the cover, what more could I need?

  20. Was that filmed in your dining room?

Also, the music was awesome and strangely familiar. Is it something I’d have heard on Classic FM?

Finally, you’ve proven the title sequence to Lost would’ve been much better with a serif font.

  23. I read this book and was completely blown away. I have waited for what words took place between Lorgar and the Emperor, lost not knowing. When I did read it I had no idea for what I felt after what the Emperor said that day to Lorgar. I had compassion and guilt for him. But what I really felt was sadness for them. The whole story just drags you thru the pain and is so perfectly scripted that it just tears your heart out. Well done Aaron, I loved every moment.
