Aaron Dembski-Bowden

Don't worry. None of this blood is mine.

Alexander

Born at 4:30pm today. Katie’s doing great, and so is he.

Huge blog post to follow when I’ve caught up on two days of missed sleep.

Thank you, and goodnight.

Also, a baby yawn:

The temptation to caption the last one “FOR THE HORDE!” was immense, but I didn’t want to be That Guy.

  2. I don’t often comment on here, Aaron, but I couldn’t resist this time… he’s adorable.

Now go and get some sleep. Gods know you won’t be getting much in the next few months…

  3. My wife has made appropriate cooing noises. That yawn pic is fantastic. Well done the pair of you!

  4. Caption it “Death to the false Emperor!” and photoshop in some horns and a chain axe. Then use that image in cards spreading the good news.

    Congrats man, everything changes now.

  18. Congratulations to you both, rest well. Right now, that picture feels priceless, as it should. A few years from now, right before graduations, dating, birthday parties, and all of the rest, the temptation will be far to great to withstand. Have fun with it, and Alexander will remember it forever. Excellent name choice, by the way.

  19. Can you please say to him, in your best James Earl Jones, ‘Join me, and we will rule the galaxy as father and son!’, in case I don’t get to do this one day.

    Congrats dude

  23. And here you were wondering that Fuscha’s time in the womb was uneventful.
She was having a sex change in there.
A boy and a cute one at that.
Don’t you hate when you have to say ugly babies are cute too, when in reality they are so fugly you want to knock it out of thier hands like a rugby ball.
You hit the jackpot however, not only is he cute but has the drop dead best Rock Face.
Hopefully the Rock Scream does not match.

  28. My husband is Bill Anderson from the Gamers Lounge Podcast and he has been reading me your posts to Fushia, I have to say I am a little disappointed because I couldn’t wait to meet this little girl named Fushia (I without a doubt believed that would be her name). Probably the only one in the world! However, congrats on the beautiful baby boy! Now your dragon tales will be even better! I was looking forward to meeting you and Katie at an event this summer but I think you will be busy! God Bless you and your family! Julie and Bill Anderson

  31. Congrats dude. I could also see that second picture captioned as ‘For the Emperor!’…

Get sleep whenever you can, the first few weeks don’t afford many opportunities for a full night’s sleep.
