Blood Reaver Review
The review blogsphere’s first Blood Reaver review (from the mighty Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review) is in.
I had to read this one twice, because it said 10 out of 10, which makes it my highest rating on GFBR.

I admit, I’m starting to feel a little less terrified about how this novel will be received. Review ratings like that certainly help.
Aaron, having read Blood Reaver, you have nothing to worry about! This book will be just as well, if not better received than your others. Congratulations on a truly awesome piece of sci-fi!!
Praise that is truly well deserved. My own review shall be going up tomorrow or Sunday. I’m two chapters away from the finish and I’m loving it.
My review now posted: http://timkenyon.wordpress.com
I suppose in an offhanded way, it makes sense that you be afraid of anything involving the Night Lords.
I give it 1/10 for horrible release timing that does not allow me to enjoy it before I am exiled to the Mojave Desert!
All kidding aside, I can’t wait to read this. The review confirmed my hopes for a continuation of the themes that won me over in “Soul Hunter”: the strong supporting cast, the examination of relationships and conflict, and the pleasure of going somewhere beyond stereotypical battles with 40k. It’s all I needed to see, and I can’t wait for May to get here now. 🙂
Hey ADB, just saw you posting in the tg thread. Way cool to hear your input on things. Can’t wait to read the GK book. After I get my copy of Blood Reaver that is (curse it not being available until the 27th where I’m at.)
…and I would be gladly reading “Blood Reaver” too right now here in the sunny Arizona if the Black Library server wasn’t belly up, likely leaving me dead in the water until Tuesday 😦
